Your First Workout

What to Expect on Your First Workout…

At Inner Fit, we know it can be nerve-wracking to go to your first class and our goal is to help you feel as comfortable as we can so you enjoy your experience. We believe fitness is something to look forward to and enjoy. We want you to leave sweaty and feeling awesome and most importantly – feeling you can do it, that is why we teach all of our programs in level. Whether today is your day 1 for fitness or you have been exercising for a long time and looking for something new, we can help you find the right balance between pushing yourself and not injuring yourself.

On your first day you will need the following:

  • comfortable workout clothes
  • ladies – supportive sports bra
  • shoes – tennis, court, or cross training shoes are perfect for class
  • water bottle – we have filtered water for members
  • towel

On your first day, your coaches already know you are coming because you signed into class. They will keep an eye out for you and when you arrive, they will greet you at the door. Our members are awesome with new people, they will introduce themselves to you and help you if you have any questions.

During the workout pace yourself. You do not need to go super hard core and get sick. That is not the purpose of Inner Fit. Your first day is about easing your joints, tendons, and ligaments into the workout. Over the next few weeks, your body will adapt and you can start to push yourself more and increase your weights.

If you have any issues with an exercise, simply let your coach know and they will quickly modify for you. We do not want anyone standing around feeling they can’t do an exercise.

Take breaks when you need them and drink your water as you go.
