Breanna

What do we love most about Breanna as a member? She stood out right away in the community with her ability to organize events. She made the Mudderella event happen for 30 members and it was a memorable experience. Breanna also has some wicked dance moves and always the fun of the party in class!
We wanted to learn about Breanna’s experience as a member over the past few years, so we asked her a series of questions to help new people learn about Inner Fit and here is what she had to say about the Inner Fit Community.

Why do you choose to still be a member at Inner Fit?

I really like the people, I feel comfortable in my skin there and totally accepted.

What have you noticed on the inside and out in terms of your health, fitness, and emotional wellness?

Confidence, happiness and willingness to try new things. I feel strong and that is empowering

How do you feel about the Inner Fit community and what part have they played in your health and wellness?

It’s the community and extra adventures that helped build my confidence

What would you say to someone who is thinking about joining Inner Fit?

Do it! You don’t have to go all out. If your willing to start with only 2 days a week it will lead to the start of great things and won’t seem so overwhelming. Just do it! Don’t think about it

What community adventure or charity events has been memorable to you and why?

Muderella helped me get out of my comfort zone and introduced me to even more amazing inner fit members. It was one of the catalysts to getting me to do more than 2 days a week. I love all the adventures though. Doing new things doesn’t seem so scary with this group

What is your favourite class and why?

Spin! Work hard to great music!!

How do you feel about the coaches at Inner Fit? What part have they played in your fitness and health?

Love them all! Before I was a coach I was inspired, encouraged and challenged to see the best in myself and work a little harder. It paid off big time!

What makes Inner Fit different than other gyms or studios you have participated in the past?

Personal relationships. You don’t get that at other gyms. Everyone celebrates with you and that lifts the spirit big time

Can you share an Inner Fit memory or story that will always stand out for you?

My first class at inner Fit! I hadn’t been to a gym in a very long time so I was very nervous but I was made to feel right at home which made me want to come back. No judgement only encouragement spoke volumes.

Where do you think you would be today if you had not joined Inner Fit when you did?

This thought scares me because I was already super unhealthy. I would of kept lying to myself and procrastinating about the need to get off the couch or tell myself that I would start Monday. But never would. Inner fit changed me life and outlook on the importance of being healthy and that doesn’t mean skinny, it means strong, confident and making healthy choices with room for a balanced life.

What do you enjoy the most about Inner Fit?

Comraderie, members, coaches! how I am so happy that I worked out even if I didn’t feel like it.

What have you accomplished that you are proud of by dedicating yourself to being healthier and fit?

126 km penticton fondo and the confidence to be a coach!
